Congratulations!

Congratulations on completing the WECANACCESS course on how to work with parents of children with SEND!

We set out to teach you how to build a positive and constructive relationship with your child’s school.

~ The massive pressures on SEND parents and how that may affect the way they interact with you

~ Why it is important it is to work with parents to find the best way to educate their child and ensure they flourish. 

~ How culture and other factors play a role in how parents react to you and their child’s needs.  

~ Useful tools in communicating important information about your child, including SWOT analysis and summary sheets

~ How to establish regular and useful contact with parents

Remember, the best bit about teaching is seeing a child blossom and reach their potential.  By working together, you and the parents both get to enjoy watching the children doing just that!
